The Damage Waiver is not insurance.
It is an agreement by Coastal Hire that, in certain circumstances, the Customer’s liability for accidental damage to hired equipment may be limited to a specified amount known as the Damage Waiver Excess.
It operates in a similar way to an excess under an insurance policy.
Is the Damage Waiver automatically applied?
Yes.
A Damage Waiver charge is added to all equipment hire unless the Customer provides details confirming they hold their own valid insurance covering Hired-In Equipment.

Yes you do need a high risk license to operate a boom lift. We have a range of machines that can go from eleven metres up to twenty six metres and offer a free site inspection to match the right machine to do your job.
Our mini loaders have a 4 in1 bucket, trencher, a 150mm, 300mm, 350mm, 400mm and 450mm auger bits.Â
